Autumn Blitz 2022 Season review

It's been a fantastic start to the indoor Cricket season, the Autumn Blitz has seen under 11s, under 13s, under 16s, Women & Girls and Masters teams competing in their respective tournaments... We had a massive 45 team entries, with over 300 players competing in 186 matches over the 8-week period!!
There have been many special moments with some really high-quality cricket played, and some controversial moments too with the appearance of the much debated 'mankad'! Overall, we've seen high development in the standard of the Indoor Cricket being played at TCA with all teams adapted to the format- the game being a fun and fast paced way of playing has been at the heart of the whole Autumn Blitz tournament and we're already looking forward to the next tournament, which is the Winter Bash!

With 45 teams and over 300 players packed into 186 matches, it sounds like the Autumn Blitz was a proper endurance test for everyone involved. I can imagine someone turning the tournament's highlights into lyrics into song, especially the mankad drama and the Massive Stains taking the Masters trophy. Those volunteers deserve a chorus all of their own.
This is a great point about learning through visual content. I often find useful study resources in video format, and pinterest video download can help save interesting material for future reference.

The mankad incident mentioned in the review certainly sparked some strong opinions at the indoor centre. With 45 teams and 186 matches across eight weeks, there must be plenty of footage worth clipping. For anyone editing those highlight reels, subtitlestool could make adding readable captions a much simpler task.
