The below guide is aimed to give you as much information as possible for both before and after you book a Cricket Asylum session. On any course the content isn’t set in stone and our highly experiences coaches will adapt to suit the age and ability range of the group or individual.

Cricket Buds
About: Fun introductory cricket sessions, teaching children basic skills with the aim of instilling a lifelong passion for cricket.
Suitable for: 5-8 year olds, beginners and All Stars. (8/9 yr olds playing regular u9s cricket and with a competent bowling action may prefer attending an under 9s development course)
What to wear/bring: We provide all the bats, balls and equipment, just wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top in winter months.
Development Courses: Age group based rather than age range, this means players can sign up to a course based on the age group they play. For example, a 12 yr old who is quite advanced and plays regular u15s cricket could attend the under 15s & 18s course.
Under 9s Development Course
About: Soft ball group coaching course including games, skill development and competitions. Aimed at those playing under 9s soft ball cricket.
Suitable for: under 9s club cricketers.
What to wear/bring: Wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top in winter months. Bring own bat if you like, but not mandatory.
Under 11s & 13s Development Course
About: Hard ball group coaching course including nets, fielding drills, skill development and competitions.
Suitable for: Club cricketers playing under 11s and u13s hard ball cricket.
What to wear/bring: For hard ball nets you will need your own full protective equipment. Wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top in winter months.
Under 15s & 18s Development Course
About: Hard ball group coaching course including nets, fielding drills, skill development and competitions.
Suitable for: Club cricketers playing under 15s and 18s hard ball cricket.
What to wear/bring: For hard ball nets you will need your own full protective equipment. Wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top in winter months.
Holiday Camps (indoor and outdoor)
About: Group coaching courses including fun games, tournaments and competitions. Courses are stated as hard ball, soft ball or appropriate age group to help guide with booking an appropriate course
Suitable for: Club cricketers of all abilities within stated age group of the course.
What to wear/bring: Wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top for indoor winter camps, hat and sun cream for summer outdoor camps. Please bring packed lunch, drinks and snacks. Full protective equipment required for hard ball courses.
TCA Tournaments (100 ball SMASH & National Tournaments)
About: Competitive hard ball tournaments running during the summer school holidays.
Suitable for: Cricketers who are hard ball capable and playing within the stated age group of the tournament.
What to wear/bring: Equipment list will vary depending on the course. Please bring packed lunch, drinks and snacks for 100 ball SMASH. Full protective equipment required to all tournaments.
1:1 Coaching
About: Individual sessions, specific coaching content based on the player’s needs.
Suitable for: Players of any age from beginner to professional level.
What to wear/bring: For hard ball sessions you will need your own full protective equipment. Wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top in winter months.
Ultimate Academy
About: Year around coaching program including pre season training, 1:1 coaching and games in the season.
Suitable for: 11-19 year old players who are keen, capable and aspiring to the next level.
What to wear/bring: For hard ball nets you will need your own full protective equipment. Wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top in winter months.
Masterclass Coaching
About: Specialist sessions based on wicket keeping, pace bowling, spin bowling and batting.
Suitable for: Club and representative cricketers who are hard ball capable and keen to develop specific areas of their game
What to wear/bring: For hard ball nets you will need your own full protective equipment. Wear suitable sports clothing including jumper/training top in winter months.
