Service Description

Wicket Keeping Masterclass with Paul Nixon. Paul Nixon, the former English cricketer, transitioned seamlessly from player to coach, leaving an indelible mark on the sport. After retiring from professional cricket in 2011, Nixon embarked on a coaching journey that showcased his passion for nurturing talent and sharing his wealth of cricketing knowledge. As a coach, Nixon's approach is characterised by his infectious enthusiasm and his unwavering commitment to player development. Drawing from his extensive experience as a wicketkeeper-batsman in both 1st class and international cricket, he offers invaluable insights into the technical and mental aspects of the game, helping aspiring cricketers hone their skills and reach their full potential. Nixon's coaching experience has included specialist wicket keeping and batting roles, as well as Head Coach of Leicestershire CCC from 2017-2003 and various roles within worldwide T20 leagues. These sessions at The Cricket Asylum will be led by Paul and our own wicket keeping and batting coach Matt Dawson, and limited to 16 players to ensure a high quality experience for each player.
