Bio– I first played senior cricket for Crossflatts when I was 13, playing there up until 2009 when we won the 1st division. I then left to play at Steeton in the Aire Wharfe for 3 seasons before returning back to Crossflatts to captain the 1st team ever since. I love playing cricket because it takes all day and can twist and turn throughout, get to play with some of my best mates and socialise afterwards. Watching the cricket as a youngster on Channel 4 when it was free to air was what got me into the game and playing on the streets to start with. I also run my clubs under 9’s team and am heavily involved on the club’s committee.

I enjoy building relationships with the players and seeing them develop and grow to love the game as much as I do, hopefully they can go on to have more success and ability than myself and enjoy themselves throughout. Coaching certainly beats trying to sell Stair lifts!
